Lucille Patrice Kennedy

Please keep the family and friends of Lucille Patrice Kennedy in your thoughts and prayers. Lucille was 91 years of age, formally of Hazelwood and entered into rest November 10, 2024. Lucille was born July 30, 1933 to the late Lawrence and Lucia Chianelli Chiccarello. Lucille was predeceased in death by her beloved husband John ”Jack” Kennedy and son Jeffrey “Hardy” Kennedy. Lucille was a devout mother, a member of St. Stephen Church where she was a cantor and active choir member. She graduated from Divine Providence Academy, worked for the Board of Education and Office of the Mayor. Lucille loved Hazelwood and was a Community Advocate. 

Loving mother of Larry Kennedy and his wife Michele, Cynthia Pluff, Carol O’Donnell and her husband Gene, Mary Cardamone and her husband Jeff. Also survived by twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Lucille will surely be missed by her friends at Brookdale Sr. Living. 

Visitation with the family Friday, November 15, 2024, 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Vereb Funeral Home (Formerly O’Connor’s) 5106 Second Avenue, 15207, 412-521-8116 Mass of Christian Burial at the St. Paul Cathedral Parish-St Rosalia Church, 411 Greenfield Ave., Pittsburgh PA 15207 Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 10 AM. Entombment will be at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.
